H.R. 1197: Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act of 2015

Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act of 2015 - Directs the President to establish the Commission to Accelerate the End of Breast Cancer to help end breast cancer by January 1, 2020.

Directs the Commission to: (1) identify opportunities and ideas within government and the private sector that are key components in achieving the end of breast cancer and which have been overlooked, yet are ripe for collaboration and investment; (2) recommend projects to leverage such opportunities and ideas in the areas of the primary prevention of breast cancer and the causes and prevention of breast cancer metastasis; and (3) ensure that its activities are coordinated with, and do not duplicate the efforts of, programs and laboratories of other government agencies.

Directs the President to enter into an agreement with the Institute of Medicine for an evaluation of the Commission's progress.

Terminates the Commission on June 1, 2020.

H.R. 1608: Medicare coverage of certain lymphedema compression treatment

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for Medicare coverage of certain lymphedema compression treatment items as items of durable medical equipment.

H.R. 3404: Breast Density and Mammography Reporting Act

his legislation, introduced on October 30, 2014 by Rep. Rosa DeLauro [D-CT3], when passed, would require that every mammography summary delivered to a patient after a mammography examination, as required by section 354 of the Public Health Service Act (commonly referred to as the “Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992″), contain information regarding the patient’s breast density and language communicating that individuals with more dense breasts may benefit from supplemental screening tests, and for other purposes.

H.R. 1530: To refine how Medicare pays for orthotics and prosthetics

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to refine how Medicare pays for orthotics and prosthetics, to improve beneficiary experience and outcomes with orthotic and prosthetic care, and to streamline the Medicare administrative appeals process, and for other purposes.

H.R. 1526: Medicare Audit Improvement Act of 2015

To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to modify policies relating to payment under the Medicare program for durable medical equipment, orthotics and prosthetics, and prosthetic devices, and for other purposes.
